Featured songwriters:
Kendell Marvel
Born and raised in Southern Illinois, Kendell started playing the guitar at the age of five. He spent the rest of his childhood playing and singing in local bars. Kendell moved his family to Nashville in the summer of 1998 to pursue his musical career, and he has been cranking out country music hits ever since.
The first song he wrote after moving to Nashville was the top five hit by Gary Allan “Right Where I Need to Be”. Since then, Kendell has had over sixty cuts. He landed seven songs on Jake Owen’s first two albums, including the hits “Yee Haw”, “Startin With Me”, and “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You”.
One of Kendell’s biggest honors was having legendary singer George Strait cut one of his songs. “Twang” ended up being a hit single and the title of the album. Kendell also co-wrote “That Lonesome Song”, the title cut on Jamey Johnson’s Grammy nominated album. Lee Ann Womack cut one of Kendell’s favorite songs “Either Way” on her Grammy-nominated album Last Call. Kendell’s songs have also been recorded by Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, Joe Diffie, Josh Turner, Randy Houser, Josh Thompson, Colt Ford, Travis Tritt and many others.
Kendell’s recent co-writes include Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert, Randy Houser, Darius Rucker, and Thomas Rhett. He most recently had five songs on Josh Thompson’s new album Turn It Up, cuts on Blake Shelton and Darius Rucker’s new albums, and one on Kenny Chesney’s beach record.
He is currently putting the finishing touches on his first CD due out later this month.

Danny Myrick
A little bit muddy water Mississippi, a little bit California beach bum, Danny grew up playing, singing and writing for his family gospel band while being consumed with 70’s FM radio. He achieved his first #1 gospel song as a writer at age 17 before moving to Nashville and spending the 90’s singing lead in country rock band, Western Flyer.
After Western Flyer disbanded, Danny’s vocal talent lead to singing 100’s of songwriter demos as well as adding background vocals to numerous albums by the likes of Blake Shelton, Montgomery Gentry and Keith Anderson before focusing on his passion for writing songs.
As a writer, Danny’s musical diversity has lead to cuts by artists ranging from Gloriana to Joe Cocker and he has celebrated numerous hit songs, including Craig Morgan’s “International Harvester” Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah”, 2009’s most played country song, “She’s Country” by Jason Aldean and the recent Locash hit song “I Love This Life”.
###
Dylan Altman
Originally from the great state of New Jersey, Dylan Altman has been writing songs and performing in Nashville since 1995. Altman has had three #1 songs: Tim McGraw’s “Watch The Wind Blow By,“ Jake Owen’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and most recently Jason Aldean’s “Take A Little Ride.” Other artists who have recorded Altman’s songs include Eric Paslay, Chase Bryant, Joe Nichols, Eli Young Band, Gloriana, Jennette McCurdy, Trace Adkins, Will Hoge, Gabe Dixon, John King, JT Hodges, The Almost, Ted Russell Kamp, Hayden Panettiere and Jonathan Jackson.
Altman is an avid supporter and volunteer for Musicians On Call (an organization that provides live music for patients in area hospitals) and co-hosts an annual benefit for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) with good friend and frequent collaborator, EMI Records Nashville recording artist Eric Paslay. His proudest accomplishment is his beautiful daughter Isabella, who serves as his greatest inspiration.

Surrender Hill
Surrender Hill is a duo out of Sedona, Arizona. The duo started performing together in 2014 and is made up of South African born Sony Recording Artist Robin Dean Salmon and Alaska native, singer songwriter, Afton Seekins.
As of July 18, 2016 Surrender Hill has been hard at work at Eastwood Studios in East Nashville, Tennessee working on their second album. The album will feature a fantastic lineup of musicians including Paul Griffith on Drums, Eric Fritsch on bass and Mike Daly on pedal steel.
Surrender Hill's debut was released in April of 2015 and the duo has toured internationally since then. The debut album was recorded in Sedona, Arizona with additional recording, mixing and mastering done in Nashville. All of the songs on both albums were penned by Seekins and Salmon.
Surrender Hill's sound is acoustic guitar and vocal driven with lasting hooks and melodies and a comfortable blend of Americana, Country and Roots Rock. The songs are laced with thought-provoking, introspective, and at times, intensely personal lyrics, mostly inspired by their life together.
Although this will be Surrender Hill's second release, it will be Salmon's 12th album release. Salmon has spent his life working as a performing songwriter, musician and producer. He has 2 album releases with Epic/Sony Records and 8 albums released on various Indie labels. Salmon has been nominated for two New York Music Awards and has performed throughout the United States, Europe and South Africa. Robin's touring and recording career has been extensive and he has worked with a very diverse group of artists such as Rodney Crowell and Cyndi Lauper to Modern English and Kenny Vaughn.
Afton Seekins is no stranger to the stage. Before moving back to Arizona in 2009, in addition to being a performing singer-songwriter, Seekins spent 8 years in New York City working as a professional dancer and choreographer. Her work has been featured on networks such as MTV, VH1 and NBC.
